2’s February 26
We had a great time discovering new materials throughout the classroom this week. In our new dramatic play, Doctor’s Office, we explored different resources such as reflex hammers, blood pressure cuffs, and even opened and applied band-aids to our friends in need of medical assistance. We even dressed up in scrubs and wore surgical masks! We developed our language skills through interacting with our friends and developed connections to the real world as well.
We used our creativity and fine motor skills while making new creations with lemon-scented play dough. At play time, some of our friends also explored the concept of height through some of the pegging materials. We learned about more than, less than, and equal to as well. At snack time on Thursday we were able to celebrate one of our friends birthdays with pizza and cupcakes. It was so much fun! This week was filled with developing our abilities in mathematics, language, and social skills. We cannot wait to see what next week has in store!
