From our Lab School Families:
“My family loves the Lab School! Both of my children, including one with special needs, have been with the school since they started in the 2s classroom with Ms. Debbie. Hands down, they are the best early childhood educators in the state. The lead teachers in each classroom are simply amazing – not just for my children, but for me and my husband as well. They give the parents such wonderful advice and support. The classrooms are designed to foster curiosity and a love of learning. They focus on the social-emotional development of your child – from how to enter a group of kids playing to yoga. They integrate nature and the classroom seamlessly, including having an option to take an entire year of nature school for 3 and 4-year-olds. Each classroom also has an observation room so you can watch anytime you want (it can be addicting). I can’t say enough good things about the Lab School!”
“UD Laboratory School has made such a positive impact on my children. After moving to Delaware and making such a big transition, I was fortunate to find a preschool that would not only work with my children on academic and literacy skills but also emotional and personal growth. The Lab School teachers, students, and staff provide such a nurturing environment through a wide variety of activities and approaches to learning. I would unequivocally recommend the UD Laboratory School to any parent or caregiver”.
“My daughter once was a very shy kid. She liked to play only with her mommy and daddy and never wanted to talk to anybody. Thanks to UD Lab School, she has changed a lot. She now hangs out with her friends all the time and actively play with her friends. Her primary language is not English, so we were worried about the communication issue that she might have with teachers. But the teachers at Lab School have been very open-minded about her multicultural and bilingual aspects and I very much appreciated that. The administrative staff and the Master Teachers are highly qualified and the programs at Lab School indeed transformed my daughter into a mindful kid. I can’t say enough how much thankful I am for making my daughter so happy over the past couple of years”.
“The UD Lab school provides a nurturing environment while educating children with exciting and fun lesson plans. My son LOVES going to school and is always happy when I pick him up. It’s so nice to have found such an amazing school in DE!”
